Before mastering the basics, beginners should minimize their attempts at spin to prevent unnecessary errors. 

For advanced players, proper spin not only increases the unpredictability of the ball but also creates more offensive opportunities, so it should be used appropriately.

Net Techniques

Beginners often need to avoid unnecessary lobs, which can directly lead to counterattacks. 

Advanced players should learn to control the ball's trajectory at the net and seize opportunities to lob the ball to build sustained momentum.

Backcourt Handling

Beginners can often use lobs to buy time to reach the net. 

Advanced players should combine drives and lobs, or even approach the net in multiple stages, to manipulate their opponent and create more offensive opportunities.

Proper grip and power application are the foundation of learning pickleball. 

We should be able to use the correct technique to hit the ball with different power, speed, placement and spin. Incorrect grip or force application may limit our technical level and may lead to injury.
